Our tech team aims to create a service that will make use of existing XML Sports Data Feeds initially for Soccer & Cricket, together with a dedicated Java-based application (Smart Client Application) that will need to be downloaded onto each Subscriber Handset as part of the registration process. This application, once installed, will contain all of the graphics, animation and audio data needed to replicate the various movements on a Soccer Field. Live Soccer replay application is a system devised by Tech team, an innovative Scottish-based Sports Media Solutions provider. The system itself will be capable of providing animated images onto a mobile handset replicating any sports action, controlled from animation scripts delivered to the handset via SMS (short message) or MMS (Multimedia Messaging) services.

A Smart Client Application will be the automatic formatting of the SMS Animation Scripts from the XML Feeds. This will be done by filtering the data feed via a proprietary server system we call the Replay Platform. Part of the Replay Platform will provide the functionality to format the filtered XML feed ready for distribution via SMS. These formatted SMS messages can then be married up to a Subscriber Database and delivered via Premium SMS Service aggregators.

Once a subscriber has received a message, the Client Application can be launched automatically to display the contents of the message in graphical form.
